Do You Hate the Gym?

Mon, 27 Oct 2014 09:53:59 -0400

No, don’t worry, you’re not crazy.  A lot of people do.  Gyms can get packed, parking can be a nightmare, all the equipment can be occupied, etc, etc.  You don’t have to go to the gym to get in shape, there are other options.  Here are some suggestions; go to the gym during the day when it’s not so busy.  What’s that? You work during the day like everyone else?  Ok, here’s another, go to a park.  Walk, run, do pushups or sit-ups on the grass.  Here’s yet another, workout at home!  Fitness can happen anywhere.  You can do pushups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, and more all in the comfort of your own home.  You don’t know what you’re doing?  Or you’ve done all that and you’re ready to take it to the next level?  Try in-home personal training.  Have a trainer come to you.  That’s right, you don’t have to leave your house.  You can workout right there in your living room.  I have trained over 100 people at their houses.  They can bring equipment or use yours, if you have any.  You’re thinking that might get expensive and you are right, it can.  My tip is to find a trainer close to you that won’t charge you extra to come to your house.  Or you could always go to him or her.  Small personal training studios can offer a quiet, intimate environment where you don’t have to be around a ton of people.  Just my suggestions.  Good luck.
